2016 GC Swiss Open Championship announcement
On behalf of the Swiss Croquet Association I would like to invite you to participate in the 5th Swiss Open for Golf Croquet, play scheduled from Saturday 6th to Sunday 7th August, inclusive. Please note that this Championship is incorporated in the recently announced European Masters and as such priority will be given to those applicants participating in that event, the details of which can be found at: http://www.eurocroquet.com/european-masters/.
Details of the Swiss GC Open
- Play starting on Saturday 6th August with the final on Sunday 7th August
- To be held on the 2 good quality lawns of CERN Croquet Club, Geneva, Switzerland
- Maximum 20 participants playing one 13 point game in blocks with a “best of 3” semi-finals and final.
- Double banking only if really necessary. Dawson Balls
- Entry fee: 60 Swiss Francs (~ 60 Euros, ~ 40 Pounds)
- Accommodation:
o Provided by CERN Club members where possible, but very limited
o Those requiring a hotel will be given assistance with choice (80-120 Chf)
- Local transport will be provided whenever necessary
- All meals and soft drinks will be provided at all times throughout the event
- A visit of the CERN physics installation can be arranged if requested in advance

2016 AC Swiss Open Championship announcement
On behalf of the Swiss Croquet Association I would like to invite you to participate in the 14th 2016 Swiss Open for Association Croquet, play scheduled from Saturday 30th July to Monday 1st August. Please note that this Championship is incorporated in the recently announced European Masters and as such priority will be given to those applicants participating in that event, the details of which can be found at: http://www.eurocroquet.com/european-masters/.
Deadline for entries: 17th July
- Play starting on Saturday 30th July with the final on Monday 1st August
- To be held on the 2 good quality lawns of CERN Croquet Club, Geneva, Switzerland
- Maximum of 12 participants playing in blocks with a “best of 5” final.
- Double banking only if unavoidable
- Entry fee: 80 Swiss Francs
- Accommodation:
o Provided by CERN Club members where possible, but very limited
o Those requiring a hotel will be given assistance with choice (80-120 Chf)
- Local transport will be provided whenever necessary
- All meals and soft drinks will be provided at all times throughout your stay
